Emotional scenes follow when he goes back to Camelot six hundred years since he was last there. King Richard the lionheart makes an appearance following his release from incarceration. The two stories become linked in emotional ways aided by Friar Tuck.
The book is full of history, love friendship and war. Finally, Merlin is moved on again but that is book two in the series and called Merlin's Shakespeare Encounter. Book three is Merlin's French Encounter which finishes on VE day in World War II.
