In the present labour I start from the observed difficulty of learning English in the population of adults and young adults who participate in short English courses. From my point of view this difficulty in learning has deep roots based on prejudices about the difficulty of learning English, but above all it has very deep roots in people's previous experiences in learning a second language, in which they were exposed to traditional teaching methodologies based on memorization that were not very assertive and of low effectiveness affecting their motivation. That is why my approach is to apply teaching-learning methodologies based on playfulness and meaningful learning in order to increase motivation and achieve effective learning in short courses.
