This book evokes and describes an important aspect of human beings, but we will refer to emotionality in the context of speech and literature, to be more clear- the category of emotiveness in language and its presence in the masterpiece of the writer. The emotions met in the text create a specific atmosphere, which gives life to the characters and their actions. We will describe the communicative types of sentences that express emotion and their grammatical, as well as syntactical and intonation properties, in the context of the masterpiece, providing examples for each case. We will speak of the writing techniques used by the author in implementing states of spirit and bursts of emotions in the storyline. This work contains information regarding the personality of the controversial writer, Oscar Wilde, and his contribution to the use of emotion in all its aspects in the rational Victorian Epoque.
