He has written more than a dozen books and had them published by a major New York publisher, some small independent presses, and has self-published and e-published some on his own; his books have been distributed all over the world and made thousands of dollars. But he has never had a New York Times bestseller and never won a Pulitzer Prize. So, after more than seventy years of writing, he is largely unknown, like many, many other unknown writers who have had varying degrees of success, while also working at a day job.
