He takes her on a flight to watch him play rugby. She kisses him after the game, but she then has to return to the UK. Anna develops a passion for rugby and a determination to become a vet.
Four years later she comes to Kenya to find him. They travel in an old Landrover, overland through Europe and fall in love but there is a long road before them before they can hope to get married.
