PHYLLANTHUS EMBLICA FRUIT AND LEAVES CRUDE EXTRACT Leaf of Phyllanthus Ambica plant was investigated for evaluating the antimicrobial properties. Different extracts of leaves and fruit viz. water, methanol, ethylacetate and were prepared and content was optimized for the quantity with varying time.The extracts were evaluated for antibacterial and antifungal properties against gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial strains as well as a fungal strain.
