The word communication originates from the Latin word ¿communis¿ which means ¿Common¿. This means that we try to establish ¿commonness¿ with someone in communication. Communication is the process of passing information and understanding the same from one person to another. Thus, communication means understanding information, facts,R or opinions of someone. Communication always involves two people, a sender, and a receiver but unless a ¿common understanding ¿ results from the transmission of ideas or symbols there is no communication.
