In sensor network as soon as one sensor node dies it can result in "the end of connectivity of whole wireless sensor network and the sensor network will be of no use, and we have to redeploy whole sensor network again, might be other nodes are functioning well, they are left as such. Therefore enhancing connectivity for longer time among sensor nodes is the only option left to save us from redeploying nodes from scratch.
