In this book, a fourth order finite difference method for a class of singular boundary value problem is presented. Finite difference method is used for approximating the solution to the boundary value problem using finite difference equations to approximate derivatives. The original differential equation is modified at singular point. The fourth order finite difference method is then employed to solve the boundary value problem.
