This publication deals with the application of soil survey and classification system on some Iraqi soils representing different climatic conditions in order to show the gensis and the classification status for the dominante soils.The results of the morphological,physical and chemical properties for the selected soils indicate some differences between the studied soils with in the two different regions.The studied soils were classified as Argixeroll,Hapolcambids and calciargids.
