The history of thought presents the work of Jürgen Habermas as being in the domain of sociology, political philosophy, and ethics without perceiving its logical-language dimension. And yet a serious and attentive reading reveals a strong occurrence of the data of the philosophy of language in Jürgen Habermas. Starting from this and especially from the doubtful attitude of his commentators to recognize him as a language theorist, this book proposes to question the belonging of Jürgen Habermas' work to the field of philosophy of language. The aim is to present Jürgen Habermas as one of the representatives of contemporary philosophy of language. The aim is to present his theory of communicative activity as a philosophy of language. In order to achieve this, we proceeded to the analysis of the thematic contents of Jürgen Habermas' work and to the identification of the characteristics identical to the philosophy of language.
