In this book , I aim to prepare some azo liquid crystal compounds and study their effect on the oxidation of lubricating base stocks. The effect of the concentration of these azo liquid crystalline compounds on the oxidation stability of the lubricant base oil will be studied. I18d liquid crystal (500ppm) was the best as an antioxidant.
