O knihe

Niger (Guizotia abyssinica (L.f.) Cass) is a minor oilseed crop, confined to the hilly areas and mostly cultivated by tribal. Farmers who cultivate it on poor soils without using necessary inputs. It is grown as a rainfed crop during kharif season. It has a very low productivity potential. This low productivity can be enhanced in sustainable manner by applying appropriate quantity of N, P and K fertilizers. The existing recommended dose of chemical fertilizers for the region/state is not enough. It needs to be investigated for finalizing the appropriate recommended dose of fertilizer. Hence, keeping in view the importance of fertility schedule on seed yield & quality of an experiment was formulated.
