Hugh Masters was born in the UK in 1977. Since 1987, however, he has lived in the Netherlands with his family. He attended an international school in Amsterdam, university in England and in the Netherlands. Currently he is studying for a third degree in Utrecht. He is often seen dashing around Amsterdam on his bike.

Vivian Lie was born in 1981 in the Netherlands and grew up in the Province of Friesland. She is currently studying at the University of Amsterdam, and enjoys the experience of living in this, the 'Venice of the North'.
