Nanocomposites incorporating Lanthanide -doped barium titanate nanoparticles have garnered significant attention in recent years due to their unique optical, electrical, and magnetic properties. This abstract provides an overview of the synthesis methods, key properties, and potential applications of these nanocomposites.Synthesis of BaTiO3:Eu nanoparticles within a polymer matrix or other host materials involves various techniques such as sol-gel, hydrothermal, and chemical vapor deposition methods. The doping of europium ions into the barium titanate lattice introduces luminescent properties, enabling applications in fields such as optoelectronics, photonics, and bioimaging.The optical properties of BaTiO3:Eu nanocomposites, including photoluminescence and electroluminescence, are highly tunable based on the concentration of europium dopants and the surrounding environment. Moreover, the ferroelectric nature of barium titanate nanoparticles contributes to enhanced electrical properties, making them suitable for use in capacitors, sensors, and memory devices.
