Well, scientific researchers have named these creatures as the Archocentrus nigrofasciatus var. In latin, the name Archocentrus nigrofasciatus var means to glow brightly without the interference of ultraviolet lamps. Scientists have explained that when light is produced by an organism using a chemical reaction it is called bioluminescence and it most commonly occurs in sea creatures. Ahead of all, the dazzling glow-in-the-dark display can be used for communication as well as to attract prey and to distract predators. In fact, some Taiwanese engineers have injected a protein from coral into angelfish eggs which gave the effect of glow.
