It has been found that in most cases, governments are content more with the economic improvement to the economic development. The economic development is the most required to the economic improvement in that, it goes further to measure its success according to the number of jobs created, rather than just the GDP of individual countries. It has been proven in this study that a number of countries have improved their economic status in terms of reducing their budget deficit, without necessarily creating jobs for the unemployed. Critical to job creation and the economic development is the formation of a sound governance free from corruption and underhand practices. This study seeks to outline processes and procedures that need to be followed to eradicate poverty.
