O knihe

Relative humidity is a term used to describe the amount of water vapor that exists in a gaseous mixture of air and water vapor. The relative humidity of an air-water mixture is defined as the ratio of the partial pressure of water vapor in the mixture to the saturated vapor pressure of water at a prescribed temperature. The relative humidity of an air-water vapor mixture can be estimated if both the measurement temperature (Tm) and the dew point temperature (Td) of the mixture are known. This approach to measuring humidity requires an equation expressing the saturation vapor pressure as a function of temperature. There are many such equations, ranging from the approximate Antoine equation, to the more detailed Goff-Gratch equation.
