Smoking cessation is difficult to achieve regardless of the therapeutic method used. There is no point in making the relapsing smoker feel guilty; on the contrary, it is necessary to reassure and motivate him/her to continue quitting or to quit again. Relapses are frequent and should not be considered a failure. They are part of the cessation cycle and should be used to make the smoker aware of the reasons for the relapse and to enable him/her to deal with it later. This encourages us to strengthen preventive measures to avoid entering the vicious circle of smoking. In Tunisia, several means are currently implemented such as: -The new Tunisian legislation concerning tobacco. -In 2005, Tunisia signed the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control. -The current development of the associative life and in particular the associations of medical, cultural and sporting nature which can include in their activities the theme of the fight against tobacco. -Health education from a very young age.
