The application of reproductive biotechnologies to wild animals has increased in recent years. In the case of reptiles, the reasons for this are the restriction of animal imports, a reduction in the introduction of diseases, an increase in the number of endangered species, making it possible to exchange genetic material, reducing costs, rapid population growth, promoting gamete and/or embryo banking, among others. The aim of this work was to standardise semen collection in snake species from different families, Epicrates crassus, Python regius and Crotalus durissus terrificus.
