Diabetes is becoming a veritable pandemic. Diabetic foot ulcers represent an ever-growing public health problem. Prevention is the only way to reduce the frequency of ulcers, amputations and the cost of diabetic foot disease.Their management can only be achieved within a multidisciplinary framework.
