O knihe

The Digital Green Cadastre is an open project undertaken by a multidisciplinary group of professionals, agronomists, architects and engineers who believe that the development of the territory can be planned in harmony with the environment. The design requirement was born from the following considerations, all equally important and many of which can only be solved now thanks to the very rapid evolution of the relevant IT technologies and processing of territorial data. First of all, the search for an easy application tool for the acquisition of botanical data that is able to use the most up-to-date survey and data processing technologies. Therefore, in response to the increasing demand of environmental quality, in particular urban, the need to produce a quantitative balance of public and private botanical heritage, standardized at international level. A balance that is the basis for estimating the quantity and economic value of the ecosystem services, in order to support the choice of development models that recognize the environmental and economic value of the botanical heritage. Last but not least, keep the botanical data collected daily in the area alive.
