In recent years, many efforts have been put forth in the application of titania nanotube arrays to electrochemical energy conversion and storage. This book offers a unique method for the optimization of the electrode morphology and its impact on the solar energy conversion and storage. The fabrication of nanotube electrodes of different morphologies by modification of electrochemical conditions has been included. The improvement in the capacitance with the change in the aspect ratio of the nanotube electrodes has been demonstrated. The enhancement in the short circuit current density of dye sensitized solar cells by improving the packing density has been demonstrated. The integration of the solar energy conversion and storage systems and its future potential has been discussed.
