Independent of its convenience and efiie'acy when joined with farinaceous substances and applied as a cataplasrn to sprained joints, as will be noticed in its proper place, it forms an eligible lotion for in¿ammation Of the skin, wheh' mixed with alcohol and water, in about equal proportions.
