Writing and publishing this book, I really wanted to capture the idea of the comfort and beauty of love, but also how it can often have a tendency toward coldness - an irony, a duality. That love from the right person can bring happiness and warmth to the soul, but if it's not the right fit, one can feel distant and vulnerable and often alone.
