The contribution of the Competitiveness Improvement Program for Agropastoral Family Farms (ACEFA) to food security in the Northern Region, Cameroon, was the cornerstone of our study conducted in 2015. The evaluation of the performance of the ACEFA program made it possible to assess the level of change induced among the beneficiaries. The analysis of ACEFA's contribution issues allowed us to examine the approach to sustaining its achievements. The data was collected during interviews with members of sixty beneficiary organizations and fifteen program managers. The orientation of the Program on Agropastoral Family Farms constitutes a powerful growth lever in terms of employment and food security. The Program's intervention logic is based on demand-driven support and advice. It is related to the implementation of a participatory mechanism and marked by a dynamic of shared responsibility of the stakeholders. The financing of innovative and job-creating agropastoral projects reinforces this performance. These results do not allow for an unambiguous statement of its performance.
