Healthcare-associated infections remain a public health problem worldwide, including in France. Healthcare and medical-social establishments are breeding grounds for epidemics linked to these infections. Internal reporting is a beneficial approach to infection control and epidemic risk management. However, it is not always easy for healthcare professionals to adhere to this approach. The aim of this study is to assess the extent to which healthcare professionals in the Haut Val de Sèvre and Mellois hospital and medico-social group adhere to internal reporting of healthcare-associated infections at epidemic risk. It is a cross-sectional study based on a self-questionnaire.
