Davana (Artemisia pallens Well.) is an important annual aromatic herb, much prized in India for its delicate fragrance. There was an improvement in growth, yield and quality parameters with the application of Azospirillum, PSB and Vermicompost along with RDF. It improves the soil structure and texture, reduces pollution of soil due to less fertilizer application. Addition of Azospirillum reduces the 25 per cent of the recommended dose of nitrogen and phosphorus besides increasing the growth and yield of davana. So, application of 75 per cent recommended dose of NPK along with Azospirillum 2 kg ha-1 was sufficient for economical cultivation of davana. This publication may useful to the students, scientist and growers.
