O knihe

Structural hieroglyphics considers Chinese characters as a complex graphic image consisting of a set of standard components. It provides a formal character description for a computer, but leaves its visual representation for a man. This allows us to offer a new method of Chinese characters compositional input, more simple and effective than phonetic methods. For hieroglyphic culture, the separation of the graphic image from its meaning and the filling of this gap with the flow of sounds is not an obvious benefit. Compositional input is a return to the culture of "silent writing", not associated with the obligatory pronouncing of the text. Differences in alphabetical and hieroglyphic writing and their influence on culture require careful study in the future. But the understanding of the graphic images recognition specificity make easier the study of hieroglyphics and accelerates the learning of reading and writing, i.e. reduces the threshold of entering into area of the Chinese characters which traditionally seems extremely high. The work may be interesting for all Chinese language learners, Chinese language teachers and those who are just interested in the Chinese language.
