Oglesby was issued in October, 1915, -just a year and six months after the establishment of the Center. This original description attained wide circulation and attracted considerable attention from educators, social workers and students of civic prob lems. The present publication contains, like its predecessor, the history of the institution, but aims further to describe and to characterize the work, now nearly eight years old.
