In order to effectively meet the needs of its customers in the field of logistics management of humanitarian aid programs, the Academy of Excellence, due to its special status as an International Humanitarian School of Reference in Africa, has, through its professional training division, organized in its various branches, internships to confront its future laureates with the professional reality in the field. It is within this framework that a three-month internship was required to mark the end of our training in logistics management & humanitarian security. This internship was carried out in the Operations Department of Abt Associates, specifically in the office of the Security and Logistics Department of the Integrated Health Program (PROSANI) of USAID in Kananga in the province of Kasai - Central, in D.R. Congo. In this report, we have demonstrated the contribution of security in the implementation of this program at the base and in the field, the constraints that this service faces in supporting program activities, the various challenges to be met, and suggestions for improving the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
