This work of systematization of experiences presents the Social Work Intervention from a more methodological perspective, carried out during the period of the pre-professional internship in the Rural Parish of San Miguel de Perucho, which aimed to generate structural solutions to problems and needs faced by the elderly population; attacking the main causes such as institutional assistance, family abandonment and social exclusion. In the same way, through the reconstruction of the lived experience with the elderly and the community in general, a socio-contextual analysis will be developed that will allow a broader understanding of the situation of the elderly.
